After receiving a BA in Psychology from UCSD, I enrolled in the Couple and Family Therapy Masters program at Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology. I completed my year-long traineeship at Second Chance, dealing with challenges including addiction and recovery, relationship issues, anger and impulse control, homelessness, depression, anxiety, and re-entry into society after prison. I graduated from Alliant with my MA in Couple and Family Therapy and am now a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in private practice. I am also lifestyle educator with the Positive Choice Integrative Wellness Center at Kaiser Permanente working with patients who struggle with binge eating and food addiction. I am currently a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and listed as an EFT therapist on the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) directory. In the therapy room, I utilize a compassionate, empathetic, and authentic approach with clients to overcome issues they bring to therapy.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy exploring fun places in San Diego, hiking with friends, and painting. I am also a huge animal lover! I have grown up with many dogs and currently have three furry kiddos of my own.
